October's Cocktail Party!

This afternoon, everyone enjoyed freshly baked chicken wings and a choice of beverage. Most residents had pop, but a few indulged in some wine! A great time was had by all. What can beat a cocktail party with friends!?

Lunch at Winchester Community Church!

On Wednesday eights residents headed out for lunch at Winchester Community Church. We enjoyed roast beef and homemade cake, along with a sing a long and a three piano concert. Names were drawn for prizes, and some of our residents won. June even won a centerpiece!

Lunch at Red Lobster!

This afternoon nine residents dined at Red Lobster. The most popular meal was the linguini with shrimp. It was a perfect day filled with good food, good conversation, and good friends! :D

Celebrations and Fall Fun!

After Sunday’s tailgate party, this week’s agenda was nothing short of exciting! To start off the week, Bernadine and Harold Laskowski, two of the facility’s residents, celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary! Announcements were made in the dining room to commemorate this delightful day. After an afternoon bingo game Jennifer, one of Eden Heights activity assistants, sang I Love You Truly in dedication to the married couple!

Later in the week the residents enjoyed a fall ride to the town of Clarence, where the residents visited Antique World. Antique World is an indoor flea market that covers 100,000 square feet of shopping within ten buildings! The residents were able to enjoy the fall foliage and sample tasty treats such as pumpkin cookies!

Buffalo Bills Tailgate Party

Today was another exciting day that was filled with sports, snacks, socializing, and creating memories. In honor of the Buffalo Bills game, a tailgate party for the residents and their families was held in the activity room. The residents were able to enjoy one another’s company while cheering for the Buffalo Bills. Even those who did not watch the game were able to join in on the fun. Eden Heights of West Seneca is an assisted living facility that is nestled in a small, serene suburb of Buffalo, New York. The facility's key goal is to provide an independent and enriching atmosphere for its residents. This atmosphere is created by assisting the residents with their day to day needs so residents can enjoy activities, create new friendships, and most importantly feel at home!


This month has been filled with various activities to get the staff and residents prepared for the fall season and Halloween. Just this week the residents decorated pumpkins, and many of them wanted to display their creations on the dining room tables. It was a fun way to get everyone involved, and to feel proud of what they had accomplished. Below is a picture of one of the many pumpkins that was created this past week. Enjoy!
